The first step is to do your research. Check out sites and references that are both for and against Masonry. You can find some suggested sites under the links pages. Contact your local lodge (here is a link to a list of Lodges) or check out the district calendar to find events that are open to the public. Come on down and see what Masonry is all about.

The next step is to complete a Petition for the Degrees of Masonry.

After your petition is presented, you will be contacted by the Lodge for an interview after which your petition will be balloted and the results shared at that time.
